Materials
Materials, Fittings, Fabrication Options For Increased Strength Raw materials used for fabricating a Concord Wedgewire screen are stainless steel:304, 304L, 316, 316L, and 321. For special applications Concord Screen utilizes 410 stainless steel, Alloy 20, Alloy 400, Alloy 600, Alloy C-276 and Hast B2. Concord engineers can assist in the selection of the correct materials for special purpose applications.


Fittings


Stock fittings are suitable for use with most Concord screens. Typical screen fittings supplied by Concord are illustrated at left. Concord Screen inventories include a wide range of sizes of pipe fittings, pipe, plate and bar stock.


Fabrication Options For Increased Strength
Materials, Fittings, Fabrication Options For Increased Strength Concord can customize fabrication to increase column, collapse, beam, or burst strength the following methods by:
  • Change diameter.
  • Change wire or rod shape.
  • Change number of rods.
  • Add external or internal supports (rings, pipe, support bars).
  • Individual customer requirements are incorporated into the design and engineering of Concord Screen wedgewire screens to ensure superior product performance.
